Essential in every shul. They allow one person to roll the Sefer Torah to the right place by himself.
Rolling directly on the Bimah is the main reason why many discs become loose.
These rollers protect the Sefer Torah as it rests on ball bearing wheels which reduce friction and guarantees an effortless rolling. High quality rubber wheels prevent scratching the Eitz Chaim.
